Galoob: The Biker Mice from Mars
Yep, you read right, Biker Mice from Mars.
Not only was this a line of action figures from Galoob in 1993, it was also an animated TV series that actually managed to last 3 seasons!
The story follows the adventures of three anthropomorphic mice motorcyclists named Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie who escape a war on their home planet Mars before arriving to defend the Earth and more directly Chicago.
Galoob’s hopes that this would be the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were soon dashed as the figures became peg warmers on toy store shelves and were later sold as Red Tag specials.
Little interest has been shown in these figures and you can still pick them up for about $10-$15 MOC on eBay. Probably the only figure that received any real attention was Charley, the only female character.
