Unicron was first introduced in Transformers: The Movie and was thought to have died in the Transformers Armada storyline in 1986, but he returned at the beginning of Transformers: Energon ready for revenge against the Autobots.
The Energon storyline centres around the quest for Energon - a rare and potent substance that the Autobot and Decepticon warriors have battled over for eons and continue to fight for on Earth!
